Esta noticia es de la semana pasada.. Mariah y su tema IWTKWLI estuvo en el tope de las radios brasileras por 20 semanas consecutivas.. (desde Oct. 2009) siendo el mayor HIT en lo q va de año alla en brazil ademas de ROMPER EL RECORD de permanencia el el NUMERO 1.

If there lay truth in the latest murmurings about Mariah Carey, things appear to be going from bad to worse for the diva. Reliable word has it that, in light of the disappointing performance of its singles, the 39 year old’s ‘Angel’s Advocate’ album has been shelved.

While Carey’s label, Island Def Jam, have yet to confirm or deny the speculation, the LP – which was a Target exclusive – has interestingly vanished from listings on the Target website, as well as Amazon where it was also featured as a download-only release. Additionally, despite being but a few weeks away from its announced release date of March 30th, no album cover nor promotional material for the record has surfaced.

The singer’s latest set-back comes on the heels of the poor performance of her ‘Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel’ LP, as well as the so-so success of her ‘Angel’s Advocate Tour’ – the box office scores of which saw particular dates struggle to fill 3000-seat arenas.

Resulta que como YO no esperaba, sus mas recientes singles BASICAMNT no stan haciendo NADA en USA a pesar de q UP OUT MY FACE ha tnido algo de exito, no es lo q la disquera necesita para lanzar el album. Recordemos que es un primer single DOBLE, al q se le suma ANGELS CRY.. ambos Remix.

La fecha fue movida de MARZO a ABRIL, luego a MAYO.. aun no se tiene material promocional, sus singles siguen STAND BY y su tour ha tnido un exito MODERADO.

ADEMAS, ya se sentia q el disco flopearia, xq seria lanzado SOLAMNT por TARGET (como ADOH de Christina) cosa q todos sabemos q NO FUNCIONA para las ventas, y tmb seria lanzado en AMAZON solo de forma DIGITAL. sino m equivoco, las preventas fueron REMOVIDAS..


Aunq muchos odien a Mariah, es de reconocer que ha sido una artista con MUCHO talento y una BUENA trayectoria.. Es chimbo q pase esto.. sabiendo que al menos uno de sus singles es BASTANTE BUENO.. Ademas Mariah ha sabido mantenerse entre la gente "normal" sin caer en drogas ni escandalos del otro mundo pues.. tipo Britney o Amy.. LO Q SI, es q necesita refrescamiento de todo tipo!

Que feo que nadie contesto, pero bueno... como que a nadie le gusta. A mi me eeeeencanta MC, aunque odio sus promociones y sus tours repetidos (siempre es #1's+ 3 canciones del nuevo disco). Yo creo que lamentablemente deberia tomarse un tiempo. Saca un disco cada un año y eso agota o que saque algo novedoso que deje estilo r&b y saque algo mas pop o no se algo que sea nuevo para nos.
