CHRISTINA AGUILERA fue la estrella del tributo!
Yolanda y Jeniffer cantan más, SI. PERO no tienen ni tendrá no sólo la presencia sino EL SENTIMIENTO Y EL SOUL que ni la mejor garganta pueden proporcionarte, siempre he dicho que Christina VIVE sus canciones y sus performances, la caraja se mete de lleno en EL momento en LA CANCIÓN y eso es lo que hace que tu te sumerjas con ella.
Esta noche fue especial, que mejor que un tributo a una mujer que aunque no la nombra siempre, SE que la ha inspirado de maneras INCONTABLES, UNA VOZ que si ella no hubiera conocido quizá no tendría las tecnicas vocales que tiene. Este PARA MI, es UN HITO en su carrera, me encanta su humildad al ir y rendir tributo a una de las mujeres que sembró el camino de las grandes voces. Ella es y siempre será una cantante que nunca olvidará a quienes la inspiraron a ser la artista y musico que es, y eso es algo que se ha perdido en gran medida, sino completamente en la actualidad. SE LO ADMIRO MUCHO, es una GRAN cualidad.
Y la verdad conozco poco la trayectoria de las demás cantantes (excepto la de Florence) pero puedo decir con BASTANTE propiedad que quien más merecía de ellas cinco estar en tarima fue CHRISTINA AGUILERA. Quien se ha cansado de rendir tributo al old school y aunque muchos no lo reconocen lo ha traído de vuelta en muchas maneras.
Y que otra cantante POP, estrella mundial que ha vendido millones de discos, ha tenido algunas de las giras más exitosas en años, ha estado en la boca de todos y ya es un ícono generacional teniendo tan pocos discos lanzados, quien más hubiera podido ocupar su lugar?

Si, SOY FAN, pero NADIE.

Para mi como fan de AMBAS, fue de verdad EXCELENTE, 'Ain't No Way' agarró otro matiz con Xtina, sabía que lo haría y se lo agradezco MUCHO; seguramente Aretha también.
Me encantaron las notas sostenidas, y llego alto de verdad, estoy feliz por haberla oído de nuevo, y el falseto NI SE DIGA; la gente se emocionó en la audiencia! Y yo también!
Verle las caras a las demás carajas mientras Xtina cantaba era simplemente la confirmación un hecho, lo que dije arriba, tienes QUE SER CHRISTINA AGUILERA. Las tipas fueron al cielo y regresaron oyendo a Xtina cantando.

Mi segundo performance preferido fue el de Yolanda Adams con 'Spirit In The Dark' canción que me encanta. Y QUE VOZ de esa mujer, de verdad que, WOW! Muy, muy buena.

Florece con 'Think' fue diferente, ella tiene una voz distinta a lo que espero oir en esa canción la verdad, hubo un par de momentos en los que no amé completamente su performance, pero el cierre fue perfecto y ella tiene un feeling UNICO.

Irónicamente a Jeniffer Hudson (la mejor voz de ellas, creo) la que tiene probablemente el registro más alto, a la que le dieron EL HIMNO de Aretha Franklin, ELLA hizo lo justo y necesario, no lo llevó más allá, y la verdad no sentí carisma en su interpretación, tiene UNA VOCESOTA! Pero eso no siempre es lo que cuenta al 100% esa es MI opinion.

Me encantó el cierre de Xtina con 'A Natural Woman' fue TAAAAN Xtina! HAHAHA!
Y me dio mucha risa la parte en la que Yolanda le quitó la estrofa que tenía que cantar Xtina en 'Sisters Are Doing It For Themselves', la sonrisa de Xtina fue linda, pero me quedé con ganas de oirla solita a ella.
El final se salió un poco de control, pero sabía que pasaría. Más bien me parece que fue decente x)

Christina ha perdido un poco de potencia en su voz, y eso viene desde hace bastante ya, pero QUE ARRECHO que su voz practicamente SIEMPRE resaltó cuando cantaban juntas, ella no tiene voz de negra (Jhud, Yolanda) ni de blanca (Florence, Martina), ella tiene LA VOZ DE CHRISTINA AGUILERA. Y eso debería ser UN ESTILO HAHAHAHA! O una manera de cantar, el color de su voz es DE ELLA. Y LO AMO!

Son las 5am, no he dormido y vengo de trabajar, pero tenía que hacer este testamento, porque desde que soy fan de Xtina y Aretha estaba esperando a que llegara este performance.
Y no me decepcionó, no tiene las proporciones de IAMMW porque al Xtina estar con las demás no podía resaltar de TAL manera. Pero para MI ella resaltó más. Y de verdad me siento muy muy contenta con lo que hizo!

la verdad que sentí poco eco de su caída.
si tenemos en cuenta que el performance de christina era el más esperado, es lógico pensar que no se le reste importancia a su actuación a causa del accidente.
christina realmente se lució y destacó en el escenario. fue la única de las 5 en ser aplaudida dos veces en medio del performance individual.
cuando supe que cantaría Ain't No Way estaba seguro que, con detalles más o detalles menos, lo haría como lo hizo, con todo el sentimiento y la pasión del mundo. realmente se nota que lleva el soul en la sangre. se la vio TAN cómoda.
no puedo estar más satisfecho con lo que hizo. cada vez más orgullosamente fan de Christina.

Que bonito todo lo que dijo Lia, es totalmente así. Christina tiene la voz de CHRISTINA AGUILERA, nadie más. Para mi se la comió, desde como se veía hasta como interpretó. Siendo las mas chiquiticas de todas, es las que tiene la mejor forma de interpretar, es excelente!

Otra cosa, que ya estoy más viva que hace unas horas creo,
A mi sí me gustó que estuvieran todas durante el performance de las demás, si, le quitó impacto, escenografía y probablemente Xtina hubiera sido mucho más impactante estando sola en tarima con el feeling de la canción, pero me gustó que el performance fuera TAN unido y colaborativo, todas se estaban dando ánimos y haciendo coros!! Me encantoooo eso! Los egos en la industria musical actual son demasiado grandes para hacer eso cualquier día, lo hicieron por THE QUEEN, Miss Aretha Franklin.

Me da DEMASIADA RISA como bajó las escaleras con JHud y Martina agarrandola así, pareciera que en backstage les hubiera dicho, agarrenme bien antes de que me caiga de verdad y termine de poner la cagada HAHAHAHA!
Me encanta el tono de voz de Xtina al hablar, es muy cute! Y me encantó su chiste sobre la caida, me hizo AMARLA de pana, lastima que los imbeciles de la audiencia no se rieron.

Me encantó la Xtina de ayer, con esa frescura y esa alegría que tenía un tiempo sin verle, se veía super emocionada y contenta de estar donde estaba como dijo Enzo, me encató ver sus caras cuando las demás cantaban, eran de "que ARRECHA esta mujer" y en momentos hasta sobrecogida como de estar ahi, para mi fue muy transparente y eso deja ver lo humlide que ella es a pesar de todo. She was fire and ice at the Grammys. In a tribute to Aretha Franklin, Christina Aguilera paid her penance proud, singing notes that soared almost to heaven as she proved redemptive of her performance of the national anthem just one week ago.
Christina Aguilera, controversial as she was at the Super Bowl last Sunday, offered nothing quarrelsome about her voice tonight, that magic set to music with her fellow ladies of song.
Those ladies stood together with voices blending in some feminine arcade of musical majesty, a range of voice that seemed to touch the very skies. Those female performers include Yolanda Adams, gospel singer, Christina Aguilera, country star, Martina McBridge, pop star, Jennifer Hudson, R&B singer and rocker Florence Welch, along with the lady Christina Aguilera, in her redemptive performance on Sunday night.
Full strength they warbled, “Sisters are doing it for themselves.” That song had meaning. This is a time when women take the stage in equal presence with the men. Tonight they did it proud. They sparkled in their clothes, mostly tight and black with bright exceptions in the hair, the skin, and an exceptional dress in lavender that Welch, her red hair gleaming wore like purpled royalty.
Grammy awards bring historical moments every year, with more categories of music and of song. Tonight was no exception with appearances by Mick Jagger, Barbra Streisand and Bob Dylan to round out a unique collection of artists who endure.
But those women at the outset, with their strength of voice matched wonderfully, gave overture to the Grammy’s in the best way they could. Redemptive and soul sisters, with Aguilera’s golden hair and golden voice, together they opened up the Grammys. Perhaps the curtain has now pulled down on whispering critics of Aguilera’s Super Bowl performance and they pen reviews tomorrow praise-fully as much as they condemned last week.

Christina Aguilera showed some respect for Aretha Franklin at Sunday's Grammy Awards.
One week after the pop star's big Super Bowl fumble – she flubbed the words during her National Anthem performance – Aguilera opened an all-female tribute to the Queen of Soul at L.A.'s Staples Center alongside Jennifer Hudson, Florence Welch (of Florence + the Machine), Yolanda Adams and Martina McBride.
Standing in a row, the ladies swapped harmonies, alternating lead vocals during the 10-minute run-through of many of Franklin's hits.
After leading off with "You Make Me Feel (Like a Natural Woman)" as a collective, Aguilera belted out "Ain't No Way," accenting the tune with plenty of melisma and her trademark vocal trilling. She stood confidently as she sang and ended the performance on a (sustained) high note – literally.
As she finished her song, however, Aguilera almost fell, crouching down so low she needed to be helped to her feet by Welch. "That was a real sexy ending," Aguilera later said, after returning to the stage to present the award for best performance by a pop duo or group.
Welch, a best new artist nominee, gave a fierce reading of "Think," while McBride performed a country-fied "Until You Come Back to Me (That's What I'm Gonna Do)." Ever the vocal powerhouse, a slimmed-down Hudson tackled Franklin's iconic "Respect." Adams delivered a simmering version of "Spirit in the Dark."
While she wasn't able to attend the ceremony in person, Franklin, who was home in Detroit recovering from her recent undisclosed health problems, appeared in a taped message after the performance to thank fans for their support and prayers. Sporting a white gown, Franklin, 68, looked noticeably thinner in her face as she addressed the camera.
"I especially want to thank all of you who took the time to send me get-well cards and flowers," she said. "I wish that I could have been with you all tonight [but] since I couldn't, next year, okay?"

Welch, whose band Florence and the Machine are vying for Best New Artist this year, took over the duties of singing the classic "Think (Freedom)." Then Hudson belted out the unrequited feminism anthem "Respect."
Adams brought her gospel sound to the song "Spirit in the Dark" before all five women closed out with "Sisters Are Doing It for Themselves," bringing the Grammy crowd to their feet.
After the performance, Franklin appeared via a video message in which she thanked Aguilera, Hudson, McBride, Welch and Adams, telling them, "I love you all." Standing before a piano in a white dress, the still-recovering Franklin went on to thank Clive Davis, Grammy producer Ken Ehrlich, and all the well-wishers who sent her cards, flowers and "most, importantly, your prayers."
"I wish I could have been there with all of you tonight," Franklin said, adding she hoped to be in attendance next year. After wishing the 2011 Grammy nominees good luck, Franklin concluded, "Thank you so much. I love you all. Have a good evening."
