La revista New Musical Express publicó su polémico listado de los 500 mejores discos de la historia (a su juicio).

Lo sorprendente es que ‘The Queen is Dead’ de The Smiths está de primero, por encima de clásicos como ‘Revolver’ de The Beatles o ‘Hunky Dory’ de David Bowie.

También sorprende que discos como ‘AM’ de Arctic Monkeys o ‘Random Access Memories’ de Daft Punk, ambos editados este año, estén incluídos en el listado.

The Beatles tiene dos discos entre los 10 primeros, y Bowie, la misma cantidad, pero entre los 14 primeros.
